Robert has a passion for educational work and regularly leads workshops for Streetwise Opera (visiting Japan twice in collaboration with the British Council), Wonderful Beast and Snape Maltings. He is a mentor for Music for Youth and a Britten Pears Arts Community Ambassador for Snape Maltings. In addition he has worked as a singer on educational projects for the Royal Opera House, English National Opera, Garsington Opera, Grange Festival, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Classical Opera Company, Opera North, Pimlico Opera Prison Project and Aldeburgh Young Musicians.
Recent work includes directing short films for Grange Festival/WWF Future Visions collaboration for Cop26, leading a Streetwise/South Bank collaboration on Stockhausen’s ‘Donnerstag aus Licht’,,working on a Mozart Project with the Mozartists, devising a short opera for Streetwise/Trinity Laban Colab2020., sessions with Aldeburgh Young Musicians as a solo artist as well as with the Voicings Collective, presenting the week long Celebration Festival at Snape Maltings and being a tutor on the Music for People residential course in Yorkshire.
Current projects include leading sessions for ENO Breathe, workshops for The Mozartists, Britten Pears Arts (Skylarks, Participation Programme, Celebration Presenter) Grange Festival (Yeoman of the Guard Project, Food Sustainability Schools’ Project with WWF) , Streetwise/Shobana Jeyasingh Dance/ Trinity Laban collab and Garsington Opera (Opera First workshops).
Lynsey enjoys a wide and varied music career as an operatic soprano, producer and vocal director. She has sung lead soprano roles with companies including Dorset Opera Festival, Buxton International Opera Festival, Iford Opera Festival, UK tours with Opera Della Luna, International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival, and the Wagner Society of Great Britain and the Mastersingers at the ROH. In concert she has performed at concert halls, festivals and cathedrals nationwide. Lynsey is passionate about arts in education, and for 20 years has created opera projects with organisations, in such diverse settings as schools, prisons, orphanages (Tajikistan), and with people with dementia and special needs. She is the Founder Director of Celebrate Voice Festival - an award-winning, multi-genre festival of voice in Wiltshire.
