THREE MULTI-SKILLED PHYSICAL PERFORMERS NEEDED FOR AN OPERA (PAID)

Director, Tim Supple, wishes to cast three physical performers for Monteverdi’s Il ritorno d’Ulisse in patria which will open The Grange Festival in Hampshire in June 2017.

Requirements: Two female and one male physical theatre performer.
Essential: Able and imaginative in dance, movement and non-verbal performance. Ability to handle and adapt to new and changing requirements in explorative and collaborative rehearsal process.
Desirable: Circus skills (hoop work, fire twirling and spinning, power striders – willing and interested to consider additional circus-based skills too).
Rehearsals: (full-time London): 24th April to 20th May
Rehearsals: (full-time Grange): 24th, 25th, 26th, 28th, 29th May; 3rd June
Performances: 7th, 16th, 18th, 24th June; 2nd July
Audition date and location: Thursday 2nd March 2017 – The Factory Fitness and Dance Centre, London N19 4DX.

JUNIOR OFFICE ASSISTANT REQUIRED

General all round support required for our small, energetic and growing team here at The Grange Festival. The role is flexible and  includes assisting Box Office, managing post and mailings, screening incoming calls, helping with management of events and assisting on site during the festival season.

There is a possibility for the right candidate to assist with social media.

Office hours Monday to Friday ~ 9.30-5.30
with some evenings as required for events and during the festival.
Salary c. £20,000 pa
Driving licence and good telephone manner essential.
Interest in classical music useful but not essential.
